Privacy Policy

Sobeit Studio LLC (“Sobeit,” “we,” “us”) is a North Carolina limited liability company based in Raleigh, NC. We design and build websites for churches. This policy describes what information we collect through our website, sobeit.studio (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

The Site has no account system. We receive personal information only when you choose to share it:

• When you send us a message through the contact form on the Site, we collect what you enter — your name, your email address, and your message, along with your church’s name and website, what you would like help with, and which services interest you, where you provide them. We store that information in our own database so we can reply to you and keep a record of the conversation.
• When you contact us by email or phone, we receive whatever you include — typically your name, contact details, your church’s name, and the content of your message.

To keep automated spam out of the contact form we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script. Cloudflare receives your IP address as part of that check, described in its privacy policy. We also record a one-way hashed form of your IP address with each submission and use it only to limit repeated automated sending; we do not store the address itself, and the hash cannot be turned back into it.

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how the Site is used and how fast it loads. These tools collect aggregated, anonymized data — pages visited, referrers, country, device type, and performance timings. They do not use cookies and do not identify individual visitors, and we cannot tie this data back to you. Vercel’s practices are described in its privacy policy.

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, for security and operations.

The Site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. It stores a single value in your browser’s session storage to remember that the intro animation has already played; it contains no personal information and is deleted when you close the tab. The Cloudflare Turnstile widget on the contact form may set its own cookie or storage to carry out its spam check, governed by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

We use the information described above to:

• respond to your inquiries and schedule and hold calls;
• keep a record of what you asked us for;
• provide and discuss our services;
• operate, secure, and improve the Site;
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-site tracking.

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers that help us run the Site and our business — currently Vercel (hosting and analytics), Neon (database hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Cloudflare (spam protection on the contact form) — each only as needed to perform their service;
• Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property;
• A successor, if our business is ever merged, acquired, or reorganized.

We keep contact form submissions and correspondence for as long as we need them to work with you or as required for legitimate business and legal purposes, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours at any time by emailing privacy@sobeit.studio. Analytics data is aggregate and is not tied to you.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including serving the Site over HTTPS and limiting who can access correspondence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site is intended for church leaders and staff, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@sobeit.studio. We will honor requests as required by applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws.

The Site links to other websites, including sites we have built for clients. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes to what we collect or how we use it will be reflected before they take effect.
